A Word from the Director of South Loop Strings & PACOMA

The Polish-American Conservatory of Music and Arts & South Loop Strings offers a wide range of activities for children, teenagers, and adults, in both locations. We provide every student with the best education.

The main goals of teaching instruments in our school are:

*developing the student's interest in music, which is one of the areas of human spiritual life.

*developing the student's musical talents, in a way adapted to his/her predispositions, and age.

*developing the basics of instrumental technique, reproductive musical memory, and sensitivity to sound quality.

*shaping sensitivity to the means of musical expression; developing a musical imagination.

*preparation for independent work on compositions.

*shaping interpretation skills, taking into account the form, and style, of the piece.

*developing the skills of reading notes, and playing a' vista, as well as group music-making.

*getting used to active, creative contact with music.

*preparing graduates with appropriate predispositions for further musical education.

The Polish-American Conservatory of Music and Arts & South Loop Strings employs highly qualified teachers who hold graduate degrees. Our faculty, and staff, have extensive experience working with children in music. Their dedication, and experience, guarantees the best results for one’s musical education.

I wish all students of our school, and individual studios, success in developing musically, and prosperity at every stage, concert, competition, or performance.

Good luck!
